Spring Sports

Baseball

The FPCA Highlander Baseball team is comprised of a Varsity squad (grades 8–12) and a Junior Varsity squad (grades 6–11). The team begins official practices in late winter and continues through May. The team is headed up by Coach Chris Nunn. Coach Nunn is enthusiastic and has been working with parents to improve our program and facilities.

Golf

The FPCA Golf program is led by Coach Chris Eason, an experienced Golf coach of several years. The Varsity Golf program is open to all student-athletes, grades 8–12. The season runs from late winter through early spring.

Soccer

The Highlander boys and Lady Landers Girls soccer program is open to grades 6–12 and is led by local legend Tom Sukaratana. Currently, the boy’s soccer season runs from August through late fall. Coach Sukaratana has been coaching soccer for several decades and has produced many outstanding soccer players throughout his career. Coach Sukaratana won a state championship at Bulloch Academy in 2005 and has brought the FPCA boys team to the final four in 2009 and State Runner Up in 2013 and 2019. The girls squad advanced to the 2nd round of the state playoffs in 2011, and they won the State Championship in 2013.

Tennis

The Highlander tennis program is open to all students, grades 6–12. The season runs from late winter to mid-spring. The tennis program is led by Coach April Causer.

Track & Field

The Track and Field program here at FPCA is open to all students, 6-12 grade. Our teams compete in field events as well as track. From short and long distance running to throwing shot put, our students compete in a variety of skills. 

Elementary Soccer

The Elementary Soccer program will start September 1st for all eligible elementary students. The program will teach each young Highlander the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and shooting and the basic concepts of offense and defensive play. The young Highlanders will be separated into teams that will be coached by members of our high school soccer program. The teams will have scheduled practices and games.
