The FPCA Boys Basketball team consists of a Varsity Squad (grades 8–12) and a Junior Varsity squad (grades 6–9). The season runs from November through February. The Highlander boys basketball program has a short, yet very successful, history as they have won six straight GISA region titles and four GISA state championships. The boys basketball team is led by Coach Shane Smith. He is assisted by coach David Linderman.
The FPCA Highlander Girls Basketball team is comprised of a Varsity Squad (grades 8–12) and a Junior Varsity squad (grades 6–9). The season runs from November through February. The Lady Landers basketball team is led by Coach Rosby Fraiser, and is assisted by Lee Christensen.
Our Cheerleading squad is headed up by Coach Janelle Remillard. Coach Remillard is a proud FPCA parent. The team cheers during basketball season. GO LANDERS!!!
The swim team is open to any academically eligible 6th–12th grade student. All swimmers must try out before joining the team. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards of good form freestyle (ie: proper breathing technique, good arm position, etc.) and 50 yards of good form backstroke. Swimmers must be willing to at least try to swim the entire workout. Practices are held at the Liberty County YMCA on Mary Lou Drive, starting in mid-October.
Swim meets are on Fridays and Saturdays. Parents/Guardians are expected to provide transportation, lodging (optional), and food for their swimmers. The school will provide transportation will available.
